I'm a therapist who helps you feel more like yourself again.
I see the patterns you've been stuck in and I'll name them, clearly and kindly, so you can finally move forward.
I'm Corrin. I've been doing this for over 15 years, and I built Bright Day Wellness for one reason: the women who hold everything together deserve someone who shows up for them the way they show up for everyone else.
You might know me as...
You've tried therapy before. Maybe they were nice. Maybe they meant well. But you spent the whole session explaining your backstory and left feeling like nothing actually moved. I don't do that. I listen fast, I connect the dots, and I meet you where you actually are. Not where the intake form says you should be.
Maybe you read something on a blog, or a friend described her therapist and it sounded like what you've been looking for. Either way, something clicked. You thought 'she gets it.' I do. And if you felt that from just a few words, imagine what happens in a full session with someone who actually sees you.
You're not sure therapy is "for you." You've managed fine on your own for years. But lately, "fine" doesn't feel like enough. You don't need someone to tell you what to do. You need someone who will sit with you in the mess and gently point out the things you already know but haven't been ready to say out loud.
It didn't start in private practice. It started in schools. I was the counselor kids came to when they couldn't go anywhere else. That's where I learned the most important thing about this work:
People don't open up because you have the right degree. They open up because they feel safe.
From there, I moved into substance use treatment. Then eating disorder programs. Each setting was different. The women were different. But the pattern was always the same: smart, capable people carrying way too much, convinced they had to handle it alone.
I got really tired of watching strong women burn out while pretending they were fine.
And I realized something about the therapy world itself. Too many therapists sit quietly. Nod. Reflect your words back to you in a slightly different order. That has its place. But for the women I work with, that approach just gives them more space to overthink.
They don't need more silence. They need someone who will actually say the thing.
So I built Bright Day Wellness around that idea. A place where therapy feels like a real conversation. Where you're challenged and supported at the same time. Where you leave with actual tools, not just a vague sense that you talked about your feelings.
How I'm different
"I won't just sit and nod."
You came here for help, not an audience. I'll ask real questions, offer perspective, and challenge the story you've been telling yourself on repeat.
"I'll call the pattern before you finish describing it."
After 15+ years, I can spot the loop. And naming it is the first step to breaking it. You won't have to spend months explaining yourself.
"I'll give you tools that work in your actual life, not theory from a textbook."
Everything I teach is designed for the real world. For the carpool line. For the meeting where your boss talks over you. For 11pm when your brain won't stop.
Training & credentials
Because the warm, direct approach is backed by real expertise.
Outside the office
Because therapy works better when you feel like you actually know the person across from you.
Lakes and Trails
If I'm not in the office, there's a good chance I'm near water or on a trail. Nature resets everything for me.
String Lights
I will never have too many string lights. My office reflects that. Warm glow over fluorescent, always.
Mom Life
The hardest and best thing I've ever done. It also made me way better at what I do. I get it, because I live it.
Flowers
I'm that person who can never have too many plants. Fresh flowers are a non-negotiable in my space.
Making Reels
Short videos about anxiety, overthinking, and therapy myths. If a 30-second clip can make you smile at 2am, it was worth it.
My Doodles
They keep me sane, they make me laugh, and they have strong opinions about the therapy couch.
