Faith and mental health are not at war.

You can love God and still struggle. You can be a person of faith and still need help. Therapy doesn't mean your faith has failed you. It means you're taking care of the whole person God made.

Catholic-Friendly Christian Counselor Listed on CatholicTherapists.com Elm Grove, WI

Your faith is welcome here. So is your doubt.

Cory meets you where you are spiritually, not where you think you should be.

Maybe you grew up Catholic and your faith is still central to who you are. Maybe you're somewhere in between, holding on to beliefs that matter but feeling disconnected from the church. Maybe you're angry at God right now and don't know what to do with that.

All of that is welcome.

Cory is listed on find.catholictherapists.com and understands the unique landscape of Catholic and Christian life. The guilt that gets tangled up with faith. The pressure to "pray it away." The fear that getting help means something is wrong with your spiritual life.

Nothing is wrong with you for being here. This is what courage looks like.

Faith integration is always your choice

If you want faith in the room

Cory can incorporate prayer, scripture, or spiritual reflection into your sessions. She understands Catholic teaching and can help you explore how faith connects to anxiety, guilt, relationships, and identity.

If you'd rather keep it separate

That's completely fine. Cory is a Licensed Professional Counselor first. She uses evidence-based methods like Accelerated Resolution Therapy and cognitive approaches. Your sessions will be just as effective without any spiritual component.

If you're questioning everything

Doubt is not the opposite of faith. Cory won't try to fix your beliefs or push you in any direction. She'll help you sit with the uncertainty and figure out what feels true for you.

You might be here because...

You feel guilty about struggling when you "should" be able to lean on your faith. You're dealing with anxiety, scrupulosity, or obsessive religious thoughts. You're going through a life transition and your usual coping isn't working. You want a therapist who understands your values without making therapy feel like a Bible study. You're carrying grief, anger, or confusion that you haven't been able to bring to anyone else.

Whatever brought you here, you don't have to figure it out alone.

Questions about faith and therapy

Not at all. Cory works with people of all faiths and no faith. Faith integration is always optional and led by you. If spirituality matters to you, she can weave it in. If it doesn't, that's completely fine too.
It depends on what you need. For some clients, it means exploring how their faith connects to their anxiety or guilt. For others, it means incorporating prayer or scripture into processing difficult emotions. Cory follows your lead and never pushes a spiritual agenda.
Yes. Cory is listed on find.catholictherapists.com and welcomes clients who find her through Catholic and Christian directories.
Absolutely. Cory offers telehealth in Wisconsin, South Carolina, Washington, and Delaware. You can access faith-integrated therapy from wherever you are.
That's welcome here too. Doubt, anger at God, spiritual dryness, feeling disconnected from your parish or community. These are all things you can bring into the room. Cory won't try to fix your faith. She'll help you make sense of where you are.

You don't have to choose between faith and getting help.
